Chaparral 2H – Can-Am Riverside 1969 – No. 7 – John Surtees
Kit: Phoenix Racecars.

Chassis: Schöler Striker sidewinder, with 4 ball bearings, 3mm steel axles, custom rims, plastic gears and guide, Fox motor, and PU tires.

Built by: Pit Schwaar to absolute perfection (body and chassis), signed and numbered “Pit 10906”.
Notes: The car is in perfect condition though it has been raced. It is one of the most challenging, detailed and spectacular models ever designed and built. Only 12 kits were produced and, when this model was bought new, it cost well over CHF 2’500 as it took Pit around 80 hours to build it. The 2H is probably the least liked of Hall’s creations hence its “doorstopper” moniker. It was not a success, and the drivers hated it. Still, it is a unique design and looks out of this world.

Alfa Romeo – Giulietta Spider 1300 – Targa Florio – No. 128

Built by: YGR (body and chassis).
Notes: The car is in perfect condition, though it has been raced. It took me almost 2 years to build this car as I was not motivated a lot of the time, but also because the problems of turning the kit into the slot car I wanted, were quite tricky. It is a typical example of learning by doing and a second kit by Italeri helped a lot. After all the hassle, I am very proud of the result and hope you will like it, too. In honour of my late father and the Targa Florio, I chose to number this car 128. A similar car in honour of my mother (No. 132) is in the making.
On the 24th of February 2024, this Alfa won the Best of Show Klasse 1 at the DSC Süd race in Kißlegg:

The prices we ask for these models (please let us know if you need further information or photographs) may seem high at first, but you will not find them in better condition or built by better or more famous builders.
1. Chaparral 1 – Nassau 1962 – No. 66
Kit: Phoenix Racecars.
Body: Resin with PET, resin and metal parts.
Chassis: Sakatsu sidewinder, with 2 brass bearings (at the rear), 3mm steel axles, custom rims, plastic gears and guide, Rabbit motor mounted behind the rear axle, and PU tires.

Notes: The car is in perfect condition as it was never raced. It comes with an original certificate dated (“24.10.07”) and signed by Pit Schwaar. When bought new, it cost well over CHF 1’400.

1/24 Scale BRM Slot Cars – Ferrari 512 M (five different models) and Porsche 917 K (two different models)

On offer here are seven of the most beautiful, highly detailed, original and collectable (all mint in box) slot cars in 1/24 scale of the glorious 5L area in motor sports of 1970/71, excellently produced by the Italian manufacturer BRM in extremely limited numbers:
1. Ferrari 512 M – No. 7 – Team Scuderia Filipinetti – Le Mans 1971 – No. 4 of 250 produced. Sold.
2. Ferrari 512 M – No. 9 – Team Écurie Francorchamps – Le Mans 1971 – No. 204 of 300 produced. Sold.
3. Ferrari 512 M – No. 11 – Team Penske Sunoco – Le Mans 1971 – No. 410 of 500 produced. Sold.
4. Ferrari 512 M – Red Kit – 1971 – Though this kit is not numbered and will need decals to complete it, it was limited to an edition of 100 copies only. Sold.
5. Porsche 917 K – No. 21 – Team J.W. Automotive Engineering LTD – Le Mans 1970 – No. 121 of 250 produced. Sold.
6. Porsche 917 K – No. 22 (qualifying car version) – Team Martini Racing International – Le Mans 1971 – No. 34 of 50 produced (very rare, particularly if you are looking for the complete set of 3). Sold.
7. Ferrari 512 M – Yellow Kit – 1971 – Though this kit is not numbered and will need decals to complete it, it was again limited to an edition of 100 copies only. Sold.

Mercedes 300 SL Roadster & Porsche 356A

This Mercedes 300 SL Roadster was built from a Revell kit and sits on a Schöler Chassis. It was first raced at the DSC South race in Dottikon (Switzerland) in 2019, where it won the Concours d'Elegance in its class, because of its beauty and elegance. On the 14th of December 2020, this car finished 2nd in the Best of Show of all the Best of Show winners at the DSC (German Slot Classics) with 71 votes. Check for yourself:

Up for sale are two beautifully hand-built and highly detailed 1/24 scale slot cars:
1. Porsche 917 LH (long-tail), No. 25. This car, the original of which raced at the 24h of Le Mans in 1970, was built by Peter Berg for the DSC (German Slot Classic) series. It is a 20 points car (maximum) in very fine condition, has a very strong ultra light fibreglass body and runs on a German Schöler chassis. It comes with running front and rear lights. CHF 500
2. Ferrari 512 Sunoco, No. 11. The body of this car, the original of which raced at the 24h of Le Mans in 1971, was built by Frank Hermes for the DSC (German Slot Classic) series. It is a 20 points car (maximum) in very fine condition, has a very strong ultra light fibreglass body and runs on a high-end custom-made Swiss rpm chassis, which was tuned by Patrick Studer. Up for sale is a beautifully hand-built and highly detailed 1/24 scale slot car of the Ferrari 365 GTB (No. 36) run by Louis Feraud at Le Mans in 1972. The body is from a Japanese Crown kit. It runs on a Schöler chassis with a Fox motor and conforms to all the criteria of the DSC (German Slot Classics). It features full working lights: four at the front and four at the back.
